Insurance Coordinator

STRAIGHT LINE CONSTRUCTION is looking to add a full-time INSURANCE COORDINATOR to our talented team!!

We are a business specializing in residential exterior remodeling, which includes roofing, gutters, solar, and siding. All our work is in Sacramento and El Dorado Counties. Straight Line Construction has been in business since 1999 and are proud to serve our community. Roof fixes and siding repairs can’t wait! And we need your help! Do you have the skills it takes to be a INSURANCE COORDINATOR for us?

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Familiar with property claims insurance billing, guidelines, and coverages.
• Coordinates with employees and/or sub-contractors, In house crew and insurance adjusters,
• Discuss, schedule, and maintain customer requests accurately and consistently
• Create and modify documents using MS Word & Excel. Advanced Microsoft offices skills, and experience with Xactimate a plus.
• Answer, screen, and direct phone calls accordingly
• Provide our customers with an outstanding customer service experience beginning to end by offering a friendly and knowledgeable face of the company
• Excellent communication with both customers and personnel.
• Understanding of local building codes related to restoration projects
• Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skill
• Updates to clients, including Property Owners and Insurance Adjusters.
• Coordinates Jobs and ensures the project gets completed , and Documenting of all steps required by insurance companies and billing jobs through completion.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Ability to schedule multi crews and jobs
• Have Residential Construction back ground
• Type 45 WPM min.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be self-motivated with positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Be detail oriented, independent, self-starter and willingness to learn
• Have an ability to work in a fast-paced office, multi task and meet critical deadlines
• Be proficient in all MS Office programs
• Present a professional appearance to provide the public a positive company image
• Have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be flexible in a fast-paced work environment

COMPENSATION:
**$28-$36/HR Highest wages available if background check verifies a minimum of five years in advancing production project planning and coordination capacities with little to no supervision in a construction or manufacturing company. Lower end of range applies if less than 2 years’ experience in construction or manufacturing production planning.
